Position Overview:
The Lead Financial Analyst, a CPA, collaborates closely with the Controller and various teams, including Accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP), across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily banking operations and reconcile Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare Profit and Loss statements for additional United Distributors locations.
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger and conduct advanced analytical reporting utilizing financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Act as the Controller in their absence when necessary and possess comprehensive knowledge of all accounting functions.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to secure auto-liability insurance as per state regulations.

Essential Functions:
- Record and prepare cash receipts for payments received.
- Reconcile company bank accounts and oversee daily cash balances.
- Close the financial month by reconciling Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare P&L statements for branches and verify accruals.
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger by logging new assets and managing depreciation schedules.
- Prepare the Audit PBC Checklist for financial audits.
- Conduct various financial reports, including variance analysis.
- Perform Controller duties as needed.
- Assist in coding invoices and expense reports for the general ledger.
- Cross-train with team members on job functions.
- Minimal travel to other company locations as required.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively via telephone.
- Capacity to sit for extended periods and operate a computer.
- Occasionally lift supplies or materials weighing up to 3-5 lbs.
