Compensation: $55/Hour on W2

Onsite Requirement: Preferably 2 days per week

The primary focus of this role is to manage chargeback processes effectively.

Job Overview

This position plays a crucial role in contract administration, impacting financial and operational aspects of the organization. The Chargebacks Analyst will collaborate with management and various business process teams, both internally and externally. The analyst will analyze financial and operational data, including pricing accuracy, disputed claims, and contract loads, sourced from multiple channels.

The Chargebacks Analyst will be tasked with supporting business transformations and implementing process enhancements that will significantly benefit the department and the organization. Daily responsibilities will vary, allowing for interaction with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Chargebacks Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Managing pricing accuracy and optimizing revenue while maintaining relationships with wholesale and group purchasing organizations.
  • Identifying root causes of discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to prevent future issues and reduce outstanding chargeback balances.
  • Overseeing operational elements of specific group purchasing and wholesaler accounts.
  • Initiating process improvement projects based on thorough root cause analysis and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues that span across departments or business units.
  • Evaluating assigned accounts and continuously seeking to enhance processes and services.
  • Creating and maintaining contracts, including tasks related to pricing, membership, extensions, renewals, cancellations, and notifications.
  • Analyzing and validating chargeback data for assigned customer accounts.
  • Researching chargeback rejections due to invalid data and collaborating with wholesalers and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Proactively analyzing chargeback data to identify trends and propose solutions.
  • Working with IT to address system issues and performance challenges.
  • Conducting testing for system changes and enhancements, documenting results, and participating in user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical sector, ideally in chargebacks, contracts, finance, or legal roles, or extensive experience in the healthcare industry with a proven background in contracts and pricing.

• 2-3 years of sales management experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with the healthcare market and group purchasing organizations.

• Knowledge of PHS membership management, DEA, HIN, and NPI numbers.

• Experience with Model N/Revitas and SAP is advantageous.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

• Ability to analyze data and apply business principles effectively.

• Initiative and problem-solving skills to implement necessary changes independently.

• Capability to present ideas effectively to peers and leadership.
