Compensation: $55/Hour on W2

Onsite Requirement: Preferably 2 days per week

The primary responsibility of the Chargebacks Analyst is to manage and resolve chargeback disputes effectively.

2. ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is essential for overseeing contract administration tasks that significantly impact financial and operational aspects of the organization. The Chargebacks Analyst will collaborate with management and various business process teams, both internally and externally. The analyst will analyze financial and operational data, focusing on pricing accuracy, disputed claims, and contract management.

The Chargebacks Analyst will play a crucial role in driving business transformation and implementing process enhancements that add value to the department and the organization. Daily tasks will vary, providing opportunities to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Chargebacks Analyst will be tasked with establishing productive relationships with key external stakeholders and group purchasing organizations. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring pricing accuracy and optimizing revenue while managing relationships with wholesale and GPO clients.
  • Identifying root causes of discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to prevent future issues.
  • Overseeing operational aspects of specific GPO and wholesaler accounts.
  • Initiating process improvement projects based on thorough root cause analysis.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex cross-departmental issues.
  • Evaluating assigned accounts and continuously seeking to enhance processes and services.
  • Creating and maintaining contracts, focusing on pricing, membership, renewals, and notifications.
  • Analyzing chargeback data for assigned accounts to validate accuracy.
  • Researching chargeback rejections and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Proactively analyzing chargeback trends to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Working with IT to address system performance challenges.
  • Conducting testing for system enhancements and documenting results.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background:

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience:

Candidates should possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in Chargebacks, Contracts, Finance, or Legal.
  • 2-3 years of sales management experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare market and Group Purchasing Organizations.
  • Familiarity with PHS membership management and relevant regulations.
  • Experience with Model N/Revitas and SAP is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Successful candidates will demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams.
