About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Business Development Operations to join our team at ASD Specialty Healthcare LLC. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expansion
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales processes and tools to improve sales performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute integrated business development strategies and tactics
  • Manage and oversee business development operations functions, including pipeline management, sales technology enhancement, and integrated business development communication
  • Analyze and improve sales processes and tools to drive sales performance and revenue growth
  • Develop and execute business development pipeline monitoring process and tracking
  • Identify opportunities to reduce time to contracting and ease of contracting across the organization
  • Collaborate with business development associates to review business and sales data and provide strategic direction to foster faster growth
  • Leverage content marketing resources, conferences, customer events, corporate websites, and social media channels to enhance lead generation
  • Continuously execute business development processes while supporting ongoing enhancements to the process and technology for integrated business development
  • Analyze, prioritize, and transition ad hoc business development leads to the most appropriate business development associate for follow-up and/or initiate first outreach
Requirements
  • Broad training in fields such as sales, marketing, pharmacy science, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree program
  • 10+ years' experience in business development, strategic consulting, or other analytical work in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries
  • Experience with an emphasis on operational processes to drive sales is preferred
  • Healthcare marketing, business development, and account-based sales experience required
  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer profiles
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a strategic thought partner to teams
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment and standing out as a successful collaborator
  • Ability to analyze and improve sales processes and tools, to include proposals
  • Experience in analyzing buyer behaviors to capitalize on selling opportunities
  • Experience in developing effective metrics for sales operations success
  • Customer contracting and compliance requirements a plus
  • Customer procurement strategy experience a plus
  • Proven track record in a role with monthly and quarterly demand generation and revenue targets
