Position Overview:

The Head of Asset Operations will manage the daily functions of the asset operations division, ensuring optimal performance, quality assurance, and scalability of Riverway Business Services' asset management offerings. This position is essential for upholding superior standards of operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Guide and develop the asset operations team, which includes asset operations supervisors, business analysts, and support personnel.
  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture centered on safety, quality, and ongoing enhancement.

Operational Oversight:

  • Supervise the management of client work requests, ensuring prompt and high-quality fulfillment.
  • Oversee the assignment of tasks to subcontractors and monitor the completion of these tasks.
  • Authorize proposed work and ensure comprehensive review of billing statements.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with the asset operations strategy and support team on unique projects and partner integration.
  • Lead efforts to enhance virtual asset performance support and asset production performance tracking.

Field Operations Coordination:

  • Work in tandem with the field operations team to guarantee optimal asset functionality and client satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage zero generation and escalated work requests.
  • Improve the client experience during on-site engagements and service operations.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain dashboards and performance indicators to assess the health and efficiency of the asset portfolio.
  • Regularly communicate asset performance, operational metrics, and strategic projects to the VP of Asset Operations and other senior executives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Coordinate with other departments such as finance, customer service, and systems support to ensure integrated operations.
  • Engage with external partners, including subcontractors and service providers, to uphold strong collaborative relationships and service quality.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Identify and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve asset management and operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at achieving cost reductions, enhancing service delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in asset operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership and management capabilities, strategic insight, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
