Job Summary

The Clinical PACS Administrator will provide high-level support and training to Medical Imaging staff, radiologists, and CAMC physicians. They will act as a liaison between the Medical Imaging Department and the IT Department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Imaging Technology Manager and Radiology IT Team to provide effective PACS support and training to users throughout CAMC.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and system performance.
• Provide expert-level support for 3D post-processing systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-level performance.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for Medical Imaging staff, radiologists, and CAMC providers on PACS and PowerScribe.
• Gather and analyze user requirements through interviews and surveys, reporting findings to the Imaging Technology Manager.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay at the forefront of PACS technology and new imaging exams and modalities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a technologist, preferably in CT or MRI.
• Strong knowledge of PACS systems and experience with image sharing workflows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under stress and emergency situations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
