Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Clinical Coordinator to support the college's nursing programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clinical, simulation, and laboratory placements and experiences for nursing students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical, laboratory, simulation, and preceptorship schedules
  • Ensure timely communication with students, faculty, and clinical sites
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address any scheduling issues
  • Onboard and maintain clinical site requirements
  • Manage digital compliance trackers and Canvas cohort pages
  • Provide operational and administrative support for the Director of Nursing and nursing programs
  • Support accreditation efforts through student tracking and records maintenance
  • Oversee purchasing for the nursing programs
  • Participate in faculty committees to support student success and program improvement
Requirements:
  • Academic training or demonstrated experience in administrative support, healthcare, management, or human resources
  • Experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn electronic tracking systems
