Amgen is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Scientist to join our Soluble Biomarker Laboratory team. As a key member of our dynamic group, you will play a critical role in developing and evaluating clinical biomarker assays to support our drug development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement biomarker assays using various platforms, including ELISA, Luminex, and LC/MS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate biomarker assays for clinical trials.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to inform biomarker development and validation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and guidelines for biomarker assay development and validation.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution of biomarker-related activities.

Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field (PhD, PharmD, or MD) with 2 years of scientific/technical experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience.
  • Deep understanding of biomarker assay platforms, particularly those used to assess soluble biomarkers.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and managing CROs.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a matrixed environment.
