POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Coordinator of Retail Visual Strategies is responsible for overseeing the visual merchandising directive process, managing cooperative funds, vendor initiatives, and training retail locations on visual standards and programs. This role plays a crucial part in executing visual merchandising strategies for new store openings, renovations, and product launches. The objective is to enhance the brand image, drive sales, optimize space utilization, and enrich the overall shopping experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and supervise the creation of visual merchandising directives to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with buyers on monthly visual directives to share insights, resolve issues collectively, and pursue common objectives.
  • Manage the complete in-store marketing process, including vendor initiatives and the implementation of point-of-purchase signage across all locations.
  • Develop and finalize monthly and seasonal visual directives in stores to ensure consistency, align with marketing strategies, and maximize sales potential.
  • Lead all Hibbett floor sets to build trust and credibility, enhance team performance, drive sales results, improve customer experience, and promote continuous learning.
  • Complete and submit vendor cooperative advertising pictures and invoices to ensure compliance with advertising agreements.
  • Set up and install all vendor initiatives in-store, capturing images to maximize sales performance and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Participate in vendor final line meetings to ensure product quality, compliance, and cost management while fostering strong vendor relationships.
  • Engage in operational store videos to conduct visual training.
  • Coordinate vendor point-of-purchase materials and communicate effectively with stores to maximize marketing efforts and ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Analyze business from a presentation perspective to promote profitability.
  • Assist in developing visual innovation and customer experience objectives to remain competitive and drive sales.
  • Conduct competitive shopping to understand market trends.
  • Safeguard the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures.
  • Collaborate with the digital merchandising team on strategies and learning for the retail environment.
  • Facilitate process development and deployment to store operations and leaders to optimize operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Travel to store locations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in retail.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Experience in a retail company, particularly in footwear and athletic apparel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and demonstrate knowledge of marketing and merchandising principles.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and address problems involving multiple variables.
  • Action-oriented with a focus on achieving goals and executing plans effectively.
  • Business acumen to understand organizational strategies and tactics.
