About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at Manulife and John Hancock. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and other stakeholders to drive retirement plan retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to retain and grow existing business, including identifying opportunities for asset maximization and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and retention.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and plan reviews to ensure alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Identify and address advisor or sponsor concerns and take corrective actions to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement business plans that optimize retention and revenue growth.
What We're Looking For
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retirement plan industry.
  • Life insurance and variable licenses as determined for the territory.
  • Industry designations such as AIF, APA, APR, ChFC, CLU, CEBS, CFA, CFP, QKA, QPA, QPFC, RIA are a plus.
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63; or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Passion for contributing to a team with a positive attitude and driven by practical results.
