Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to graduate students utilizing the ESOL Lab, Recording Studio, and other facilities.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment in the OB Studio and Research Center.
- Monitor and manage the daily operations of the Graduate Student Center.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Maintain inventory and oversee equipment usage, reporting any maintenance issues as necessary.
- Facilitate workshops or training sessions related to lab equipment and technology as needed.
- Assist with student inquiries and provide guidance on available resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all work areas.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in a technical support role or educational environment is a plus.
- Proficient in operating audio-visual and recording equipment.
- Familiarity with ESOL instructional materials and student support services is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work scheduled hours consistently.
