Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to graduate students utilizing the ESOL Lab, Recording Studio, and other facilities.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment in the OB Studio and Research Center.
  • Monitor and manage the daily operations of the Graduate Student Center.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee equipment usage, reporting any maintenance issues as necessary.
  • Facilitate workshops or training sessions related to lab equipment and technology as needed.
  • Assist with student inquiries and provide guidance on available resources.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all work areas.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience in a technical support role or educational environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in operating audio-visual and recording equipment.
  • Familiarity with ESOL instructional materials and student support services is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work scheduled hours consistently.
