Position Overview: We are in search of a highly qualified and forward-thinking Industrial Services Water and Wastewater Utility Engineer to spearhead our expanding Industrial Engineering Division. The successful candidate will possess significant expertise in developing water and wastewater systems tailored for large-scale manufacturing operations, addressing diverse water supply needs and waste management challenges. This role demands a proactive individual who can leverage technology-driven solutions to adapt to dynamic operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Manage the initiation and oversight of water and wastewater systems for large industrial clients.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions for handling diverse waste streams.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies focused on cost efficiency and adaptability.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop flexible implementation strategies.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater projects.
  • Ensure adherence to local water resource regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on project activities.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental regulations at all levels.
  • Enhance water recycling processes to improve sustainability.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to drive system enhancements.
  • Analyze data related to water usage and system performance.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to advocate for water conservation initiatives.
  • Review consultant proposals and manage communications effectively.
  • Assess infrastructure requirements based on current and future demands.
  • Conduct analyses to evaluate project feasibility and value engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater management for industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of local water resource regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in civil infrastructure construction is essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in engineering related to water and wastewater projects.
