Job Summary

As a key member of our civil engineering firm, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers, engaging with clients, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Role: Oversee a team of skilled engineers and provide technical leadership in the preparation of basis-of-design reports, improvement plans, and other design documents necessary for projects.
  • Client Engagement: Coordinate with clients to determine scope and scheduling requirements of projects, and assign personnel to provide engineering and technical support to ensure maximum efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Participate in effective presentations to councils, the public, and selection committees, and maintain project records for client and company purposes.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor assigned staff, and provide guidance on industry design software and technical understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and AZ Professional Engineer's license or ability to quickly obtain AZ professional engineer registration.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Water/Wastewater related design, including master planning and design of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater facilities.
  • Skills: Demonstrated leadership in a team atmosphere, ability to plan, organize, supervise, coordinate technical work, and satisfy clients, and capacity to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills with limited supervision.
