Our Engineering Department is expanding and is seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our team. This role will primarily focus on Water/Wastewater initiatives and will be instrumental in the technical development of proposals and designs. If you have a passion for project management, there will be ample opportunities to enhance and refine those skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and developing comprehensive written proposals, including some technical writing as necessary.
- Supporting the design of water and wastewater projects, which encompasses creating water distribution storage systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, lift stations, piping, and other essential components of water/wastewater systems.
- Managing and coordinating deliverables from subcontractors, vendors, and partner consultants.
- Facilitating communication and the flow of information between WestLand, our subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Learning to establish and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and/or a master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or a related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in water/wastewater systems (4+ years preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
- The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $99,000.00 annually.
