Position Overview: We are in search of a highly proficient and innovative Industrial Services Water and Wastewater Utility Engineer to spearhead our expanding Industrial Engineering Division. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in developing water and wastewater systems for large-scale manufacturing enterprises, addressing diverse water supply requirements and waste streams. This role demands a proactive individual with the drive to explore and implement technology-driven solutions adaptable to evolving operational conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary technical consulting engineering and construction teams.
- Oversee the initiation and management of water and wastewater systems for industrial-scale clients, particularly Fortune 500 companies.
- Design and implement technology-based solutions to effectively manage various waste streams.
- Conduct research and due diligence on emerging technologies, emphasizing cost efficiency and adaptability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop flexible implementation strategies.
- Execute the planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater projects.
- Ensure adherence to Arizona water resources and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on design and construction management activities.
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Enhance water recycling processes to improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Work alongside engineering and operations teams to implement system enhancements.
- Analyze data and compile reports on water usage, recycling rates, and system performance.
- Engage with community stakeholders to advocate for water conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- Review and evaluate consultant scopes of work and invoices while managing consultant communications.
- Assess infrastructure requirements based on current demands and anticipated future growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater management, particularly with industrial-scale manufacturing clients.
- Strong understanding of Arizona water resources and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Prior experience and knowledge to support and comprehend civil infrastructure construction.
- 4+ years of professional experience in engineering with water and wastewater infrastructure or utility projects.
