Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist specializing in formulation development to play a vital role in our platform development team. This position will focus on advancing our core delivery technology for nucleic acid-based therapeutics. The successful candidate will engage in the intricate design and optimization of lipid-based nano-formulations, troubleshoot formulation processes, and explore novel materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine unique nucleic acid-based formulations.
- Characterize product profiles to enhance process optimization and ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of experimental data, procedures, and protocols.
- Organize and manage the inventory of supplies and materials effectively.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address challenges and foster innovation.
- Uphold high standards of scientific integrity and accountability.
- Facilitate communication across departments and support project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience in nano-formulation of nucleic acid therapeutics, including filtration techniques and characterization of nanoparticulated matter.
- Proficiency in pipetting, buffer preparation, and use of analytical balances.
- Familiarity with HPLC, UV-Vis, and fluorescent plate assays is advantageous.
- Able to conduct independent research and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, enthusiasm, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated scientific curiosity, a robust work ethic, and resilience.

Compensation:
Seawolf Therapeutics offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including equity incentives. The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,000 - $120,000, with final compensation determined by factors such as experience and education.
