Position: Account Director

Overview:

The Account Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the performance of significant strategic accounts. This position is integral to achieving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment that enhances employee engagement and productivity. Collaborating closely with the Vice President, the Account Director will be instrumental in shaping and executing strategic initiatives, including Reliability Maintenance and Facility Maintenance Supplier Consolidation, while driving workforce productivity and best practices across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Ensure alignment with client objectives and performance metrics through collaborative review processes, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Performance Management: Identify and implement best practices and KPIs to effectively manage and assess performance, including contingency planning for critical services.
  • Service Level Oversight: Drive service level enhancements across the portfolio, working with client teams to establish performance metrics aligned with business strategies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of monthly reports to ensure strategic alignment and effective service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain current accounts.
  • Client Engagement: Facilitate regular account review meetings with clients to discuss performance, operational reviews, and strategic objectives.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure consistent service delivery and manage work requests that approach financial limits, escalating as necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and guiding team members, establishing clear performance objectives, and conducting regular evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of senior-level experience in managing multiple facility operations.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business documents and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in operations and maintenance within commercial and industrial environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
