Job Overview

At 9Rooftops, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment across our multiple offices nationwide. Our team is dedicated to working with a diverse range of brands, and we believe in empowering every employee to contribute to our collective success.

We are in search of a seasoned Account Supervisor to enhance our team. Our mission is to serve as a vital partner to ambitious brands, driving growth and inspiring transformative change. We hope you share this vision and join us at 9Rooftops.

The Account Supervisor will oversee and nurture the agency's daily interactions with key client stakeholders, ensuring that projects are executed as planned—punctually, within budget, and with minimal disruption to the client or agency's daily operations. This role requires a blend of analytical and strategic thinking, employing various approaches to address client challenges and initiatives. As the lead project manager, the Account Supervisor must exhibit strong organizational skills to manage workload and workflow effectively. You will be expected to present the agency's insights, recommendations, and creative outputs to diverse client audiences.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients to foster an atmosphere of trust, respect, and satisfaction.
  • Become a subject matter expert and strategist for the client's business by keeping informed about current issues and market trends.
  • Stay updated on media (social, digital, traditional) trends and industry developments.
  • Assist in crafting and presenting annual and project-specific scopes, detailing deliverables, resources, and financial needs.
  • Continuously assess client satisfaction, ensuring that execution meets both client and agency quality standards, and escalate any quality concerns to the relevant leads.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within client accounts by understanding their business challenges and goals.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while balancing the expectations of clients and the agency.

Client-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with client Co-Op Association to formulate an annual marketing strategy aligned with key business objectives, including budget planning and management.
  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of creative assets for the Co-Op.
  • Plan and facilitate monthly in-person meetings for the Co-Op association.
  • Provide monthly performance reports for the Co-Op.
  • Develop, coordinate, and communicate market-wide programs and promotions.
  • Evaluate new cause marketing opportunities and manage existing programs and sponsorships with Co-Op locations.
  • Supervise marketing and advertising elements of community programs specific to the Co-Op.
  • Manage the online reputation management vendor and oversee the current vendor contract, ensuring effective communication of monthly performance metrics.
  • Oversee platform management, including resource document archives and communication tools.

Leadership:

  • Exhibit confidence and authority as the primary voice of the agency team.
  • Foster strong internal relationships to enhance collaboration and stimulate innovative solutions.
  • Effectively mediate conflicts both internally and externally (with clients, team members, creative agencies, media vendors, etc.).
  • Proactively seek improvements in current processes or introduce new methodologies that contribute to the success of 9Rooftops.
  • Show marketing curiosity and a willingness to explore new directions for client and agency decision-making.

Team and Project Management:

  • Take charge of deploying and managing agency resources for your accounts.
  • Prepare timely and accurate internal communications (creative briefs, job starters, change orders, media plan requests, buy authorizations, timelines, and estimates) and external communications (support documents, conference reports, recaps, timelines, estimates, and weekly status updates).
  • Monitor project estimates against actual time and cost accruals to minimize write-offs.
  • Review monthly billing for accuracy and completeness according to accounting schedules and client reporting requirements.
  • Generate monthly account summaries for distribution to senior management and/or clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management or agency roles.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading project teams across multiple disciplines (creative, media, strategy, social, technology).
  • Ability to think strategically and resolve issues in a client-focused environment.
  • Capability to conceptualize goals and objectives for clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider applicants for this position without regard to any category protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
