- Payroll Processing: Coordinate the timely processing of payroll and employee benefits, including the accrual of sick leave and paid time off at month-end.
- Retirement Contributions: Ensure that 403(b) payroll deposits are submitted punctually.
- Workers Compensation: Maintain and update the workers compensation records and process check requests promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist the Chief Financial Officer in preparing month-end journal entries related to payroll and other necessary financial entries.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare necessary schedules for the annual financial and 403(b) audits.
- Budget Assistance: Support the development of the annual financial budget and prepare tax reports along with any state-required documentation.
- Employee Enrollment: Facilitate the enrollment of all employees in the American United Life 403(b) plan.
- Compliance Management: Monitor employee status for full-time classification and compliance with ACA regulations, including the preparation of 1095 returns.
- Equipment Coordination: Manage the procurement of computers for employees as required.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with IT services to resolve computer-related issues and ensure proper installation of equipment.
- Network Troubleshooting: Address Wi-Fi and software concerns, determining when to escalate issues to IT support.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate submission of collected sales taxes.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
