Job Summary:

River Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children, is seeking a dynamic and talented Staffing Coordinator to coordinate the scheduling needs of the nursing department staff in a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staffing schedules for the nursing department staff in a behavioral health setting
• Work closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing, House Supervisor, and Milieu Manager to ensure patient care needs are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing schedules and records
• Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in staff scheduling
• 1-2 years of staffing experience required, with census-driven healthcare staff scheduling experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain confidentiality
