About Women In Need, Inc.

Women In Need, Inc. is committed to disrupting the cycle of homelessness by offering transitional and supportive housing for families led by women. Our Income Building Program assists clients in transitioning from unemployment to stable employment, while also supporting those already employed in enhancing their financial situations. This includes initiatives aimed at increasing wages, transitioning from part-time to full-time roles, securing health benefits, and moving from informal to formal employment. Additionally, we provide financial literacy workshops to equip our clients with vital skills such as budgeting, bill management, and basic financial oversight. Our operational budget is approximately $150 million, with $14 million raised through private and corporate contributions, funding programs and services including the Income Building Program and Camp Win.
