At Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Local Class A Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our products to customers across the region.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $64,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on overtime. We offer competitive wages and salaries, as well as opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Job Description

As a Local Class A Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting trucks daily to ensure they are safe to drive and completing inspection sheets;
  • Loading and unloading products from trucks;
  • Driving trucks to pick-up locations and delivering products in a safe and timely manner;
  • Maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality;
  • Maintaining work areas according to plant standards for safety, efficiency, and cleanliness;
  • Attending safety meetings and adhering to all safety rules set forth by the company and government regulatory agencies.

You will also be responsible for performing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school education or equivalent;
  • Ability to drive a set of double trailers and operate a forklift;
  • A valid California driver's license and a good driving record;
  • A Class A commercial California state driver's license with endorsement to operate double trailers.
