Job Title: Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

In our dynamic environment at Resource Logistics, we seek a skilled Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in server OS installation, configuration, and maintenance, as well as proficiency in updating firmware, BIOS, and drivers. Strong vendor coordination skills are essential, including escorting vendors within the data center and coordinating with network teams. The successful candidate will also maintain accurate inventory records and ensure seamless device movement and gatepass preparation. A salary of $23 per hour on a W2 basis (no benefits) reflects the importance of this position. If you are a motivated professional with a passion for data center operations, apply today.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update DC Sheet/Inventory
  • Update DC Portal
  • Server OS installation
  • Server Configuration
  • Update Firmware, BIOS and drivers etc.
  • Vendor co-ordination for hardware issue
  • Share Logs with Vendor for hardware issue
  • Vendor Escorting in DC
  • Parts received and return
  • Server Mounting
  • Server Movement
  • Rack Movement
  • Prepare Gatepass for Device Movement
  • Escorting Vendor in MUX Room
  • Coordination with Network Team
  • Network Connectivity
  • Coordination with Teams (VM, Storage, Backup & Unix)
  • Maintain DC Store (Server Part Only)
  • Coordinate with Custom for Material inspection
  • Coordinate with Logistics Team
  • PO and Invoice status check
  • Maintain Authorization Sheet (DC, MUX & Fire Proof Safe)
  • MUX room cleanup
  • DC cleanup
  • Check and maintain Power and Cooling in DC
  • Labeling on Racks and Devices
  • Client servers issues
  • Provide Recording Backup as per admin request
  • Tape Movement to Fire Proof Safe
