About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at ConcordRents. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all property amenities and apartment homes, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and routines to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as leasing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of resident concerns.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance expenses and improve efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; applied trades training or certification in a related field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and other technical tools.
