Exclusive Cleaning Services LLC is in search of a dedicated Full-Time Floor Care Technician to provide essential cleaning and maintenance services across various facilities in Central Florida. This role involves performing a range of janitorial tasks along with specialized floor care services, including Carpet Cleaning, VCT Maintenance, and Pressure Washing in diverse environments such as offices, warehouses, and industrial spaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or client concerns to the site supervisor.
  • Follow attendance and punctuality guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. Reliable transportation is essential for commuting to job locations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness to travel between service areas and adapt to a dynamic weekly schedule.

ADAPTABILITY:

Ability to adjust to changing work environments where different skills may be necessary, including janitorial duties and floor care tasks.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Effective communication skills in English are preferred.

REASONING ABILITY:

Capability to apply logical reasoning to execute one or two-step instructions and manage standardized processes with occasional variations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

While executing job responsibilities, the team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend. The role involves repetitive use of hands and fingers for handling objects and equipment, as well as pushing, pulling, climbing, and balancing. The team member must regularly lift and/or move heavy floor care equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Utilizing industrial equipment to sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets.
  • Occasionally using ladders to access and clean elevated areas.
  • Moving furniture and equipment to facilitate cleaning tasks.
  • Removing stains from surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Properly labeling and diluting cleaning chemicals as necessary.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment consistently.
  • Keeping the janitorial closet organized and safe.
  • Performing VCT Strip & Wax and Scrub & Recoat tasks.
  • Conducting Carpet and Tile & Grout Cleaning.
  • Executing Pressure Washing services.
