Compensation: The starting hourly wage for this role is $24.04, with potential for higher pay based on relevant education and experience, up to $27.40 per hour. This equates to an annual salary range of approximately $50,000 to $57,000 for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of facility maintenance, ensuring routine preventative measures are taken to keep all properties in safe and operational condition.
  • Oversee the management of equipment and supplies to comply with health and safety regulations, including assessing management and expected lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify repair and renovation needs, and prepare monthly facility reports.
  • Lead capital projects, providing support for new construction, permitting, and related activities.
  • Coordinate and manage facility inspections, including those required by fire and health departments.
  • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of both interior and exterior areas of the facilities.
  • Ensure that grounds are well-maintained and safe, including landscaping and parking areas.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments as necessary.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors responsible for facility maintenance.
  • Perform repairs and improvements on buildings, vehicles, and equipment, coordinating with contractors as needed.
  • Maintain a detailed maintenance log and generate reports on repairs, safety issues, and other relevant occurrences.
  • Organize cleaning, painting, and maintenance projects involving volunteers and clients, overseeing their contributions.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance, cleaning, and janitorial supplies, adhering to established ordering procedures.
  • Prepare facilities for varying weather conditions and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are secured and accounted for on a daily basis.
  • Report all emergency and safety concerns to the supervisor immediately and ensure repairs are completed within 24 hours.
  • Maintain client files with all necessary case management documentation and updated information.
  • Complete required training within designated timeframes.
  • Adhere to the ethical standards, policies, and procedures of IMPOWER.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in custodial or related fields is necessary.
  • Successful completion of background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State, and County.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance, along with a clean driving record, are required.
  • A negative result from a multi-panel drug screening is mandatory.
