Job Summary

Mohr Partners, a global corporate real estate services firm, is seeking a highly skilled HR & Admin Specialist to join their team in Chennai. This role will be responsible for overseeing both human resource functions and administrative tasks within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resources:
    • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and facilitate their smooth onboarding process.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution.
    • Address employee grievances and conduct investigations as necessary, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
    • Promote positive employee relations through communication, engagement initiatives, and conflict resolution.
  • Performance Management:
    • Support performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
    • Assist in identifying training and development needs to enhance employee performance and career growth.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
    • Process HR-related documentation such as employment contracts, HR letters, and employee changes.
    • Assist with HR reporting and analytics to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Administration:
    • Manage office supplies and ensure timely procurement of office essentials.
    • Coordinate office maintenance repairs to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
    • Negotiate contracts and handle renewals to ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Plan and coordinate company events such as meetings, workshops, and employee functions.
    • Manage travel bookings and logistics for employees, including accommodation and transportation.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 2-3 Years proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a remote work environment.
    • Deep understanding of remote work dynamics and best practices.
    • Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws, regulations, and HR practices.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and HRIS platforms.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
