Business Development Manager for Plastics Production

Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market.

As a Business Development Manager for Plastics Production, you will develop relationships within target customers to penetrate the organizations and open doors to new business opportunities in Plastics production and secondary operations.

The ideal candidate will deploy global account strategy in conjunction with Management to achieve aims and objectives set for the business.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for aggressively attacking both plastics and value-add opportunities to ensure competitive take-away, market share growth, and prime strategic positioning for future business successes.

The Business Development Manager will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets set by Management.

The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify, and close new business in line with set quotas and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution.

The Business Development Manager will regularly update sales data system with customer data, new opportunity logs, and call plans.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years in industrial or components sales experience successfully meeting/exceeding goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of the plastics industry with background in manufacturing and a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain and OEM's manufacturing requirements
  • Technical understanding of plastic component design and manufacturing
  • Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Strong project Management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize actions
  • Will be responsible for presenting to (internal) executive teams and conveying the status of the business and growth opportunities
  • Will work closely with Operations Management to insure goals, objectives, and budgets are met
