Current Opportunity:

We are looking to enhance our team with a Geotechnical Engineering Associate to support our operations.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 annually, full-time position with a balanced work environment split between fieldwork and office duties, accompanied by comprehensive benefits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering with a geotechnical emphasis, or a related discipline.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Experience ranging from 0 to 5+ years.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and manage workload effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current HAZWOPER 40-hour certification.
  • Willingness to travel for field assignments, typically within a three-hour radius.
  • Comfortable working in remote locations with limited amenities.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical field investigations and materials testing.
  • Collect and transport field samples to the laboratory for analysis.
  • Document findings and relay results to engineering professionals.
  • Perform geotechnical engineering assessments.
  • Draft sections of geotechnical engineering reports.
  • Provide oversight during construction to ensure adherence to recommendations.
