Key Responsibilities

Sterling Engineering Inc. is actively seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a robust background in water and wastewater infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess experience in:

  • Planning, designing, permitting, inspecting, and overseeing construction of water and wastewater systems, including pump stations, distribution networks, collection systems, storage facilities, and treatment plants.
  • Coordinating infrastructure design efforts with various engineering disciplines such as traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and surveying.
  • Managing projects effectively, showcasing strong leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborating within a team environment while demonstrating self-motivation and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Prioritizing multiple tasks and managing the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly desirable. Experience with Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS is advantageous.
