Job Overview

Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. is a leading family-owned semi-truck dealership with a strong presence in the industry. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contact customers and prospects to identify potential sales opportunities for new and used trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
  2. Maintain a database of existing customers and sales prospects to organize customer contact and facilitate sales efforts.
  3. Assist truck sales personnel with the preparation of sales quotes, sales assistance, and filing/tracking of sales-related documents.
  4. Work with customers and prospects who visit the dealership when sales personnel are unavailable.
  5. Help rental customers pick up vehicles when the rental manager is out of the office.
  6. Organize and maintain used truck files, including pictures and specifications, on the dealership's computer database.
  7. Enter used truck specifications and pictures on the company website.
  8. Assist the Sales Manager in gathering information for direct mail pieces and advertising efforts.
  9. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Appraise used trucks for trade-in value when sales personnel are unavailable.
  2. Travel to visit customers in their place of business to facilitate sales.
  3. Assist with sales and marketing activities, such as surveys, direct mailers, and trade shows.
  4. Deliver new and used trucks to customers with sales personnel.
  5. Maintain the appearance of the new and used truck lots, ensuring trucks are staged properly and have correct window decals.
  6. Help coordinate trucks through service or rig up.
  7. Ensure all sales brochures are up-to-date, available, and displayed.
Requirements
  1. A minimum high school diploma with relevant experience is required.
  2. At least 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the heavy-duty or medium-duty truck industry.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  4. Commitment to company core values and a customer-centric approach.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, prospects, and colleagues.
  6. Adequate mathematical skills to prepare sales quotes and analyze market data.
  7. Ability to operate a computer and navigate various software systems.
  8. Physical ability to tilt truck hoods, climb into cabs, and perform other tasks as required.
