Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Stanford Health Care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our end users, troubleshooting and resolving issues with their devices and applications, and collaborating with our IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for many of our end users, and your ability to provide clear and concise communication will be essential in ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or other communication channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with devices, applications, and systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles to assist end users
- Contribute to the development of process improvements and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in technical support or related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware, and software
- Experience with helpdesk software and ticketing systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
