Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Test Technician/Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Newark, California. This is a contract-to-hire position with competitive benefits.

Salary: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of products to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications.
  • Utilize various tools and testing devices to verify product performance.
  • Complete work assignments efficiently and maintain organized and clean workstations.
  • Document inspection findings, create rework instructions, and communicate corrective actions as needed.
  • Shift work assignment priorities as directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical aptitude: Good understanding of mechanical assembly processes.
  • Documentation: Ability to document inspection findings and communicate corrections.
  • Data entry: Proficient in data entry and technical reporting.
  • Tool usage: Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree: 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in technical electrical work.
  • Testing experience: 2 years of experience in electrical testing with test instruments.
  • High voltage equipment: Experience working with high voltage equipment (240v).
