Position Title: Retail Customer Service Representative

Division: Retail Operations

Reports To: Assistant Manager/Sales and Service Leader

OBJECTIVE:

This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to both new and existing clients. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of customer service functions, including but not limited to, account openings, promoting banking products, and guiding clients through various services offered by CenterState Bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide outstanding customer service to enhance client satisfaction and contribute to the branch's growth.
  2. Foster positive relationships with clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  3. Direct complex customer concerns to the Assistant Branch Manager when necessary.
  4. Facilitate the opening of personal and business accounts in accordance with established guidelines.
  5. Identify client needs and promote relevant banking products and services in a friendly manner.
  6. Refer potential clients to subsidiary services.
  7. Assist clients with inquiries regarding account statuses and balances.
  8. Support clients with safety deposit box services.
  9. Process various transactions, including stop payments and wire transfers.
  10. Engage actively in the sales cycle to promote banking products.
  11. May perform teller functions as needed.
  12. Assist in consumer loan application processes when required.
  13. Ensure compliance with all branch operations and regulatory standards.
  14. Contribute to successful outcomes in internal and external audits.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with bank policies.
  16. Achieve performance goals set by management.
  17. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
  18. Engage in marketing initiatives to promote banking services.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Effective listening skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service or banking is preferred.
