About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courtroom Services Specialist to join our team at the State of Missouri. As a key member of our Courtroom Services Department, you will be responsible for providing training and support to our clerks in the areas of criminal and civil processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and update written procedures and training manuals for courtroom/division, substitute, and FTR clerks to follow for Show Me Courts (SMC), FTR Gold and any other systems used as it relates to Criminal and Civil processing.
  • Train and review the work for assigned clerks, review management reports to ensure the work processed by clerks are consistent and accurate.
  • Serve as the contact for questions, corrections, and assistance relating to domestic relations case processing for assigned clerks.
  • Assist in developing training materials and programs in other areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Highly responsible and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply statutes, policies, and regulations.
  • Experience with electronic filing systems and case management software.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to the public.
