Position Overview
The Highway Project Coordinator will collaborate with a team of engineers to execute the intricate design of both urban and rural roadway initiatives. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting alignment and profile geometrics
  • Performing drainage assessments
  • Developing comprehensive plans and construction estimates
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of technical documentation, specifications, and calculations

While proficiency in Bentley Microstation and OpenRoads Designer software is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities
As a Highway Coordinator, you will be expected to:

  • Collaborate effectively with project engineers on the detailed design of roadway projects
  • Take ownership of alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, and plan development
  • Support the creation and submission of technical reports and specifications
  • Undertake additional duties as necessary

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is encouraged for career advancement

Required qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Experience with highway and road engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, and Civil3D
