As a key member of our team, the Senior Event Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events to ensure seamless operations and meet client expectations. This role involves managing event logistics, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, and venue selection, as well as providing on-site management during events. The position also focuses on building strong relationships with members, donors, and clients across sectors, supporting fundraising and marketing efforts, and ensuring annual targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of events, including budgeting, vendor sourcing, logistics, and on-site coordination.
  • Oversee the annual convention and monthly membership events, ensuring seamless exhibitor coordination and attendee management.
  • Build and maintain strong client and member relationships, responding to inquiries and providing high-quality customer service.
  • Support membership growth by developing retention and recruitment strategies, processing memberships, and maintaining an accurate CRM database.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure effective communication, publicity, and social media coverage for events and membership efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5+ years of experience in event management and membership support.
  • Proficiency in membership CRM systems, event management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and lift up to 40 pounds.
