Snubbing Equipment Specialist

The Snubbing Operations Technician plays a crucial role in assisting with the management of snubbing apparatus, including the setup and dismantling of equipment, conducting maintenance tasks, accurately maintaining and submitting time records, and adhering to essential safety and operational protocols.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in and support all mandated safety, compliance, and certification initiatives.
- Assist in the assembly of connection hoses and high-pressure iron apparatus.
- Keep all necessary logbooks and inspection documentation up to date.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections, as well as fuel and service machinery.
- Ensure the upkeep of assigned equipment and perform daily checks to meet operational and safety standards.
- Report any operational issues to supervisors and maintenance teams.
- Efficiently carry out equipment inspections and maintenance as required, completing all necessary paperwork.
- Operate machinery in line with company protocols.
- Monitor well control metrics and calculations before and during job execution.
- Adhere to proper procedures for rigging up and rigging down.
- Maintain overall cleanliness, repair, and preparation of equipment for subsequent tasks.
- Practice safe driving methods when traveling to and from job sites.
- Participate in required training and professional development programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and public speaking abilities.
- Availability for on-call duties 24/7 as scheduled, with a willingness to work extended hours.
- Ability to meet all pre-employment criteria.
- Capable of understanding and executing routine oral and written instructions.
- Able to lift weights up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficient in the safe operation, maintenance, and minor repair of equipment.
- Ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
