Job Overview
The Shop Technician at Peak Rentals plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily shop tasks. This includes the repair, upkeep, and documentation of equipment as assigned. The position requires close collaboration with Shop Foremen to communicate the condition of equipment, the status of repairs, and the scheduling of maintenance to guarantee the safe and reliable operation of Peak Rentals' assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly address any unsafe conditions identified or reported. Report safety violations and concerns to the Shop Foreman or Operations Manager immediately.
- Capable of creating a detailed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) that identifies all job tasks, associated hazards, and mitigation steps.
- Adhere to all safety protocols consistently, ensuring workspaces (including vehicles) are clean and free from hazards.
- Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating openness to guidance and feedback.
- Accurately complete and update a JSA as circumstances evolve.
- Assist in rigging up/down test equipment as necessary.
- Prepare equipment for assignments and manage load-out processes.

Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
