Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Diagnose straightforward mechanical issues.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery, including conducting tests and diagnostics.
- Monitor, assess, and modify processes or machinery to enhance quality and productivity.
- Identify both simple and intricate mechanical faults.
- Support fellow technicians in executing repairs and maintenance as required.
- Possess knowledge of oil field and engine machinery.
- Carry out tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Complete service assignments promptly as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in training sessions as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience with similar industrial machinery.
- Prior field service experience of 2-5 years is advantageous.
- Ability to execute complex repairs accurately and safely in both shop and field environments.
- Possession of a basic set of hand tools is necessary.
- A valid driver’s license or commercial driver’s license is required.
- Willingness to travel overnight between locations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Proficiency in the English language is essential.
- Involves bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking, and other physical activities.
- Essential duties may require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.
- Extended periods of sitting on machinery or other equipment may be necessary.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, bright lights, dust, fumes, and varying climate conditions.
- Must be able to wear standard protective or safety gear as required.
- Ability to work under pressure at times.
- Must react quickly using hands, fingers, or feet as needed.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Must navigate the facility to conduct safety inspections as required.
- Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Must complete tasks effectively despite frequent interruptions.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment as necessary.
- Must communicate clearly with team members and clients.
