Position Overview:

As an Asset Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's fixed assets by ensuring precise tracking, reporting, and adherence to financial regulations. This position requires robust analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Documentation Management: Ensure accurate documentation of all fixed assets, including acquisition, disposal, and depreciation records.
  • Asset Inventory: Perform regular physical audits of fixed assets and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and update asset schedules and reports for financial and audit requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee compliance with organizational policies and applicable accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Policy Formulation: Contribute to the creation and execution of asset management policies and procedures.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with finance, procurement, and operations teams to monitor asset movements and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Capital Expenditure Oversight: Review and monitor capital expenditures to ensure proper capitalization and depreciation practices.
  • Audit Assistance: Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and best practices in asset management.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in asset management or accounting, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge Base: Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Proficiency: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Certification: Certification in fixed asset management (CFAM) or similar credentials is advantageous.
