Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team at the Immunology Center of Georgia. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and analyzing our burgeoning biological data. If you are interested in bioinformatics research and excel in a team environment, this position offers an exciting opportunity to further your research career.

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct research projects that employ computational methods to single-cell omics data focused on immunology in both healthy and disease states.
  • Supervise junior members in the lab. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to merge computational predictions with experimental validations.
  • Assist PI for writing publications and grant applications.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by P.I.
Requirements

A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in research, basic science or clinical laboratory particularly clinical trial research; OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years' research and/or clinical experience; previous supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
