We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Ophthalmology at Augusta University. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting research, analyzing and interpreting data, and presenting research findings via presentations and manuscripts.
Responsibilities- Design and execute research studies to investigate various aspects of ophthalmology.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders to ensure successful research outcomes.
- Prepare and present research findings to academic and professional audiences.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or cell biology, and experience in research, basic science, or clinical laboratory settings. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years' research and/or clinical experience may also be considered.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious supervisory experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases are highly desirable.
