Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our team at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical staff, ensuring seamless patient care and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

This is a part-time (.01 hrs/per week) per diem/temporary position working day shifts. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, manage calendars, and schedule surgical procedures, ancillaries, and rotaries.
  • Master Scheduling: Design, analyze, and coordinate master and other schedules.
  • Administrative Support: Provide scribing and other administrative support to clinical staff, maintain, track, and send charts, and prepare/construct charts/departmental patient records.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Complete and process various reports, forms, reimbursements, and obtain authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Training and Development: Conduct on-the-job training for new staff members and provide input into performance appraisals.
  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinate conferences/meetings and make travel arrangements as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: With 3 years of administrative support experience or equivalent required.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working with the public required.
  • Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical terminology may be required.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in PC word processing, spreadsheets, Excel, PowerPoint, and MC Publisher software's required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
