Overview

This Administrative Support Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical setting, providing top-notch support to our healthcare team. As an integral member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for performing a variety of independent administrative tasks, including scheduling patients, managing multiple calendars, and coordinating surgical/infusion procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Schedule patients and manage calendars while ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate surgical/infusion procedures, ancillaries, rotaries, and deposition scheduling to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain and track charts, provide scribing and administrative support to clinical staff as needed.
  • Compose, edit, and type correspondence, forms, and reports while maintaining accurate records.
  • Create databases, spreadsheets, tables, charts, and slides to aid in data analysis and presentation.
  • Perform file management functions, prepare departmental patient records, and obtain new medical record numbers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A high school diploma with 3 years of experience in administrative support or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience working with the public essential.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology may be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in PC word processing, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), PowerPoint, and Publisher software required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and qualifications.
