About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Specialist to join our Occupational Medicine team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support and secretarial services to patients and staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for scheduling patients, managing calendars, and coordinating scheduling tasks. Additionally, you will perform file/record management functions, prepare charts/department patient records, and review billing sheets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain administrative office procedures and systems, including filing systems, scheduling, drafting, and document processing systems. You may also conduct on-the-job training for new staff members and participate in performance appraisals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Answers telephone, screens and directs calls, gives directions, and takes messages
  2. Schedules patients, manages calendars, schedules ancillaries, and rotaries, and coordinates scheduling
  3. Screens and assesses relative priorities of correspondence, inquiries, and projects, organizes systems of distribution, and reviews these items to ensure proper flow through the office
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
