Multilingual Customer Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
CLIENT: A prominent US Fortune 1,000 organization and a leading provider of process services to Government Health and Human Services sectors, is in search of a skilled Multilingual Customer Support Specialist for a fully remote opportunity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remote / Work from Home (candidates must reside in Texas)
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 Months + Potential for Permanent Hire
REQUIREMENTS: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy: Candidates must have a Laptop with Windows 10 / 11 OS or a MacBook with Mac OS 10.14 or higher. Chromebooks and Tablets are not permitted.
TRAINING: Comprehensive training will be provided for 1-2 weeks.
WORK SCHEDULE: 8-hour shifts available (between 7am to 7pm PST)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in a state program offering discounted home and mobile phone services to qualified households.
- Respond efficiently to customer inquiries.
- Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Engage with customers through multiple communication channels and collaborate with team members as needed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional support and providing insights on the efficiency of customer service processes.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred: Previous experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role.
- Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- Bilingual: Proficiency in English and one of the following languages: Laotian/Lao, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Cambodian, Hmong, Tagalog, or Spanish.
