About the Role

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Representative to join our team in Cary, NC. As a key member of our pharmacy operations, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling refill deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients, clinicians, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary support for inbound telephone calls, minimizing workflow interruptions due to non-clinical customer inquiries.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication delivery and payment, ensuring accurate information is included in patient profiles and distribution can be completed in a timely manner.
  • Directly respond to customer inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Update concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of referrals.
  • Provide customer service through management information systems, answering questions regarding refill needs, prescription status, insurance information, and providing copies of invoices upon request.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of an Associate degree preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a call center role, with no retail experience.
  • Experience working with management information systems to effectively address customer needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Willingness to take a typing and customer service test.
