About the Role

The Client Lead, Growth is a key position within Semafor's sales team, responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic client relationships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections and market research to generate leads and drive revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in prospective accounts, positioning Semafor as a trusted partner and thought leader in the industry.
  • Sales Presentations: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that align with client needs and business objectives.
  • Revenue Growth: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, driving new business development and revenue growth.
  • Market Expansion: Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding Semafor's market presence and reach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior sales team members and internal partners to ensure alignment and support in driving new business initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance metrics, providing regular updates to sales management.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the media industry.
  • Experience in business development or marketing, preferably in a B2B environment, a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop a successful career in sales.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
