Construction Field Specialist

The Field Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by facilitating effective planning, management, and communication. This position involves close collaboration with Project Managers, Superintendents, and various project team members, including clients, to support project success. The role may require travel up to 25% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of project close-out and operation manuals for client delivery.
- Support Project Managers in coordinating document control and updating project management software.
- Contribute to process enhancements by sharing best practices and providing training to team members.
- Build and nurture industry relationships to create potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain and update the Contract Document Log with current information.
- Organize and participate in project meetings, ensuring agendas and minutes are documented and distributed.
- Ensure accurate bid documents are sent to bidders and maintain the bidders list.
- Keep current construction documents updated.
- Manage the CBI report and ensure all insurance documentation is current.
- Respond to RFIs from contractors and maintain a log of these inquiries.
- Review and track submittals, maintaining a submittal log.
- Support daily project management tasks, including handling pay requests, change orders, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in construction or a recent graduate in a construction-related program.
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- LEED AP and OSHA 10 Hour certifications are advantageous.

Vision: Ability to see within the normal visual range, with or without correction.
Hearing: Ability to hear within the normal audio range, with or without correction.
